Senior IATA Ticketing Officer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior IATA Ticketing Officer to join our central ticketing desk in Karachi. The role involves managing direct GDS reservations, complex routing optimization, and assisting corporate and private travelers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Process domestic and international flight reservations via Amadeus and Sabre GDS systems.
• Issue, re-issue, revalidate, and refund airline tickets in accordance with IATA resolutions and airline tariffs.
• Handle multi-sector routes, fare constructions, and emergency flight adjustments.
• Liaise directly with airline helpdesks for special passenger requirements, group quotes, and waitlist clearances.
• Provide transparent, courteous telephone and in-person advisory to corporate travelers and families.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in an IATA-accredited agency in Pakistan.
• Certified proficiency in Amadeus and/or Sabre reservation systems.
• In-depth familiarity with airline fare rules, IATA ticketing codes, and BSP reconciliation.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English and Urdu.
• Proven record of accuracy and integrity in fare calculation and passenger advisory.
